Water ingress at the wire entry point is one of the most common — and most preventable — failure points in cheaper outdoor fixtures, often undermining an otherwise well-built housing.
We use IP68-rated waterproof connectors on all outdoor fixtures, along with heat-shrink or potted cable joints at every wire entry point. This combination prevents water from tracking along the cable into the driver compartment, which is the root cause of many early fixture failures in the field.
This waterproofing standard is applied across our full range, including LED Street Light, LED Flood Light, and LED In-Ground Light products.
